Queer Film Festival Utrecht 2023
Het Queer Film Festival Utrecht is een jaarlijks evenement dat LGBTQ+ cinema viert en tentoonstelt. Het festival vindt plaats in de stad Utrecht, Nederland, en dient als een belangrijk platform voor het bevorderen van queer cultuur, bewustwording creëren en het stimuleren van dialoog over LGBTQ+ kwesties via de medium van film.
Ik kreeg de mooie opdracht om het beeld te maken voor QFFU 2023. Het thema was ‘Verleden, heden, toekomst’. Voor deze vijfde editie van het festival heb ik vijf personages gecreëerd uit vijf belangrijke tijdperken in de geschiedenis van de film.
The Queer Film Festival Utrecht is an annual event that celebrates and showcases LGBTQ+ cinema. The festival takes place in the city of Utrecht, the Netherlands, and serves as an important platform for promoting queer culture, raising awareness, and fostering dialogue on LGBTQ+ issues through the medium of film.
I was asked to make the artwork for QFFU 2023. The theme was ‘Past, present, future’.
For this fifth edition of the festival I created five persona from five important time periods in cinematic history.
